Junior Achievement inspires and prepares young people to succeed in the global economy through student programs teaching work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy. We seek to build stronger communities around the goals of creating jobs, building stable economies and providing higher standards of living.

140 individual area operations reach more than four million students in the United states, with an additional 3.5 million students served by operations in 114 other countries worldwide.

Locally, Junior Achievement serves more than 28,000 students annually. Junior Achievement of Greater Birmingham does not solicit government funding nor is it a United Way Agency.
